Any member who is in a company / relationship that would like to take advantage of different membership possibilities should contact the treasurer – Johannes Hammerstein - hammerstein(at)hmmrstn.com - and arrange for their status to be changed.
Secondly, we will continue to welcome newcomers to the club for up to three meetings without any charge but it was also decided that any guests who attend more than three times without becoming members will be asked to make a donation of € 10.00 per meeting. This we think is fair both to the members and also to guests.
To any company directors who are already doing business with English speaking companies, or who are considering doing so, the business network Germany - tbng - is the place where you have a great opportunity to get your employees or even yourself more relaxed about speaking the English language.
When we are in the right company, we all know how much easier it is to converse after a glass of wine. Come and join us for a meeting and see for yourself how simple it is to break through those language barriers. Transform yourself into the interesting participant rather than being the one who is afraid to open their mouth. In business, this can be the difference between getting the deal or losing it!
Much of modern business is no longer conducted solely in the boardroom but on golf courses, in restaurants or during other social activities. The social skills required to participate competently are only obtained by practice and involvement. At tbng one has the possibility to both apply and improve those skills in a non-critical atmosphere.
For those of you already comfortable with the English language, we can offer you the opportunity to keep your language skills primed, in the company of like-minded business people and to make new contacts in areas that you might not yet have considered significant to your business
